This past weekend was Carmageddon: the 2-day closure of a 10-mile stretch of our nation's busiest freeway, the 405. While the hype behind Carmageddon was just that... hype! I decided to stay close to home so I didn't become a victim of the unthinkable traffic, that never was...
Instead, I walked around the corner from my house with two of my closest buddies and my love to the famous Helms Bakery District where The Eat Real Festival was taking place.
Instant heaven... Food Trucks galore, Live Music, Beer in Mason Jars, great food demonstrations and best of all FREE bike valet by the Culver City Bike Coalition; for all the Angelinos who chose to boycott their cars in the name of Carmageddon.
This was the perfect event to eat, drink, and be merry... let's just say we did just that!
Cheers to all that took part in ensuring the Eat Real Festival was a success!!!
Much Love
